Dirt Rakers

The Dirt Rakers are an Americana (Santa Cruz mountains honey jar Americana) band featuring Erik Rozite (guitar and vocals), Jayne Williams (mandolin and vocals), Jay Hansen (lead acoustic resonator guitar, slide), and Jojo Fox (bass and harmonies) Louisa Sandman (washboard / percussion). We're a home-brewed group out of the redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains.We blend high octane / cask-fermented foot stompin’ and feel good melodies with purdy harmonies and a happy family style feeling where ever we play. ...We mix our original songs with some covers by anyone from Tom Petty, Wilco, Neil Young, and Devil Makes Three to old school tunes like Hank Williams, and The Carter Family … We're a bunch of good-time friends playing good-time music.
